Natasha Maʻafala is a first year journalism student from Waiʻanae, pursuing a double major in journalism and communications. She aims to create stories that shed light on the overlooked stories of the islands, share coverage of local communities, and inspire & connect the people of Hawaiʻi. Natasha hopes to use her passion for visual storytelling and Hawaiian culture to one day work in a local newsroom.
