Malia Manuel, Reporter
Malia Manuel is a journalism major in her first year at UH Manoa. Her passion for journalism was sparked by an initial love of reading and creative writing, as well as a background in political activism. In high school, she wrote for the student newspaper, The Pinion, which fostered her love for writing as well as shaped her skills to better expose the injustices that she had grown up fighting against. Now, her interests have extended greatly across a multitude of different topics.
