Over the summer, four students attended a conference on the influence of artificial intelligence in journalism that was held in the Philippines and hosted by the East-West Center. Lili Hurd, Contributing Reporter
Lili Hurd is pursuing degrees in Journalism and Ethnic Studies and has a passion for telling stories about underrepresented communities. Born and raised in Colorado, she wanted to step outside of her comfort zone, which led her to move to Hawai‘i. She is currently a staff photographer for Ka Leo O Hawai‘i and an intern at Hawai‘i Business Magazine. Outside of journalism, Lili enjoys photography, traveling, trying new foods, and watching horror movies.
