Big Duos EP 2: Captain Fun breaks down the UH Athletics marketing game plan

This week on Big Duos the boys talk with Eric “Captain Fun” Matthews, the UH Athletics director of marketing and fan engagement. Mathews has been a bow for six years now and is breaking the seal on his strategy going forward for UH Athletics marketing. Mathews’ job is to create the marketing campaigns that plan out some of the biggest athletic events for the school, from Taylor Swift night with the basketball team, to Anime night with the baseball team. Mathews and his team are responsible for drawing in the crowds to pack the house, with a sure fire strategy to branch out of traditional college sports audiences. Looking to increase their engagement with both the youth demographic as well as the young adult women showing that a UH Athletic event can be fun for everyone.
