Aloha! My name is Savvy and I’m a junior here at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I’m an absolute people person and for this reason I declared a major in journalism! I believe everyone has a story to tell and I love learning about people and what makes them, them. At the age of eight, I started doing competitive hip-hop dance, so I’ve grown to love being in front of a camera/large audiences. I’m thinking about pursuing broadcast journalism and have done a few live news interviews about Rise Manoa, the newly opened student dorm I work and live in! Through Manoa Mirror, and the journalism program, I hope to grow as a thinker, writer and communicator!
