Hi, I am a senior journalism and political science student at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. I hail from Southern California, and favor feature writing, multimedia journalism and video production. I hope to go into magazine writing to explore my interest in independent music, art, fashion and culture, as well as to highlight community and international stories that might otherwise go untold.

"Considering the fact that a majority of our classmates were seniors last year, we had to work hard and get through it," said Gennella Amasol, one of the editors in chief at Sacred Hearts Academy’s Ka Leo. "As sophomores and as current juniors we had to work through, cooperating with our students who are also sophomores, and some of them are freshman. We have to work together and make sure our bubble is there. We have to make sure we get everything in, it's perfect, it's on time."
