Laurel Galvin is a journalism major and a geography and environmental minor in her fourth year of studies at UH. She brings passion for music & media, studies of place and society, and politics and advocacy into her journalism. After contributing to Mānoa Mirror as a reporter for several years, she assumed a position as Editorial Coordinator in Fall of 2025. After developing her managerial skills in the food service industry, Laurel hopes to contribute to this media ecosystem by encouraging and helping students to submit their stories, and taking creative approaches with her own reporting.
