Hello! I am Kevin Hirokane, a third-year journalism student at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I was an atmospheric major who transferred into the journalism program after my first year. The ability to tell stories about people and give a voice to those who need it is why I got into journalism. Journalism has given me the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and learn something new every time. I garnered some interest in photojournalism but am now focusing on investigative writing.
