Aloha mai kākou! My name is Grant Nakasone and I’m a junior journalism major with a political science minor at UH Mānoa. I was born and raised in Hawaiʻi, more specifically in Wahiawā on Oʻahu, and I have a deep passion for providing a voice to those who need one, keeping people well informed, and telling stories that could have a positive impact on the community. I’m primarily interested in local and state politics and hope to the put the skills I develop at UH to good and meaningful use wherever I end up after college. Iʻm very excited for what the future has to hold with everything I’ve learned so far at UH!
