Alyssa Francesca Salcedo is a two-year Journalism student at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She is also a Vice Secretary  for the SPJ student chapter. She is also represented the UH Mānoa’s journalism program at the International Media Conference with the East-West Center in 2024. She plans to utilize her journalism experiences to improve community-conscious reporting and advocating for more solution-based journalism!
