Faculty and Staff

The Journalism program has four full-time faculty members: Dr. Brett Oppegaard (Professor, Program Director), Professor John Temple (Professor), Dr. Youjeong Kim (Associate Professor), and Dr. Julien Gorbach (Associate Professor). It also has two dedicated staff members and one part-time Graduate Assistant: Angie Hamilton-Lowe (Educational Specialist), Brandon Zakahi (School Secretary), and Yasmina Benachour (GA). It also employs several adjunct lecturers, who are professional media people teaching in our program, bringing contemporary practices directly into our classrooms, who also are listed here.
